ZIYAH Media was among the standout winners at the Beitbridge Corporate Awards held on Saturday night, taking home two prestigious accolades in recognition of its contribution to media development and community empowerment.
The Beitbridge-based media and creative company won the Community Champion Award 2025 and Media House of the Year 2025, cementing its growing reputation as a leading force in the local media landscape.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network after the awards ceremony, Ziyah Media Co-Director Nyaradzo Chivaka Ziyadumah described the achievement as a proud moment for the organisation.
“We are grateful to the organisers for these awards. It’s not a joke to scoop a double. We need to thank our team at Ziyah Media for the splendid job they have done. These awards will push us to continue doing great work. We have now targeted going regional by this time next year. We also want to thank everyone who supports and follows us on our social media platforms,” she said.
Founded in Beitbridge, Ziyah Media operates as a full-service creative firm and media production company under the slogan “You Dream It. We Film It.” The company offers content creation, commercial digital marketing, event broadcasting and multimedia production services across southern Zimbabwe.
Through its subsidiary, Ziyah News Network, the organisation provides coverage of local, regional and international news, ensuring that communities remain informed on current affairs and developments that affect their daily lives.
The company’s influence extends beyond journalism and media production.
As part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives, Ziyah Media has supported grassroots sport by sponsoring football kits for local clubs, including Dulibadzimu FC and Vhembe Stars.
Ziyah Media also plays a key role in promoting local sport through match coverage and live-streaming services, helping to increase visibility for athletes and teams within the district.
Another notable initiative is its annual Under-19 Schools Soccer Tournament, which brings together school teams from across Beitbridge District and provides a platform for young footballers to showcase their talent.
