Harare- The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has announced the arrest of four suspects in separate drug busts conducted in Harare and Chitungwiza on 25 August 2025.
In a statement posted on the force’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, police confirmed that detectives from the CID Drugs and Narcotics, Harare swooped on a house along Chimutenga Close in Mbare National, where they arrested Tapiwa Chinyama (32), Tadiwa Zibhowa (18), and Tendai Mhlanga (30). The trio was allegedly found in unlawful possession of seven kilogrammes of dagga.
In a separate raid on the same day, police arrested McMillion Kandawasvika (29) at a house on Mugodo Street, Zengeza 1, Chitungwiza, after he was allegedly found with crystal meth.
The ZRP reiterated its commitment to intensifying the fight against drug abuse and appealed to the public to continue providing information on suspected drug dealers and peddlers.
