A 15 year old male juvenile has been convicted of raping two 6 year old girls in Sazunza Village, Chipinge.

Circumstances are that the offender raped 2 female juveniles, both 6 year old who reside in the same village. The offender followed the first complainant to a water source, grabbed her, and dragged her into the bush. He then forcibly removed her clothing and raped her. The offender used the same modus operandi on the second victim on an unknown date in the same month and location.

 The victims reported to their parents and investigations were conducted leading to the arrest of the offender.

The offender was found guilty on both counts of rape and was sentenced to 6 years imprisonment on each count, with the sentences running concurrently and wholly suspended by Regional Magistrate in Chipinge.
