Dulibadzimu United suffered a 2-0 loss against ZRP Gwanda at Phelandaba Stadium as the curtain closed on a season that promised much but ultimately will go down as a disappointing one for the Beitbridge outfit.

The defeat at the hands of police side means Duliz finishes the season on position 7 outside of their much publicised ambition of a top four finish. They also finished on the same position last season.

Following their marvelous display in the first half of the season , Dulibadzimu has been a pale shadow of the team to beat they were in the first fourteen games of the season, faltering in the second half of the season losing matches on a regular basis.

Their performances during their second half of the season has been accompanied by disappointing series of results as the team got hampered by several issues including senior players absentees attributed to the team’s poor financial situation.

Kwekwe United finished with 71 points ahead of Tongogara which secured 70 points after defeating Beitbridge FC.
