THE 2026 Beitbridge Business Expo officially kicked off on Thursday July 2, with more than 120 exhibitors expected to showcase their products and services in what has become one of the border town’s biggest annual business events.

The event will run till July 4.

Running under the theme “Beitbridge 24/7,” this year’s expo has attracted exhibitors from across the country, including Bindura, Gwanda and other towns, with organisers expecting even more participants as the event gets underway.

Beitbridge Business Expo Chairperson Anna Muleya told Ziyah News Network that preparations had gone according to plan and more exhibitors are expected.

Across the exhibition grounds, businesses were putting the finishing touches to their stands, each aiming to market their brands, connect with customers and create new business opportunities.

Among the exhibitors is the Zimbabwe National Road Administration (ZINARA) Senior Revenue Clerk Kudzanai Chiramba said the expo has become an important platform for strengthening relationships with stakeholders.

The Beitbridge Business Expo has brought us closer to our stakeholders over the years, and we are grateful for that. Having businesses gathered in one place makes it easier for us to engage them, raise awareness about ZINARA’s role in road funding, explain our licensing and revenue collection services, and respond to any questions they may have,” said Chiramba.

First-time exhibitor Ubuntu Driving School is also optimistic about the opportunities the expo presents.

“We are excited to be exhibiting for the first time at one of Beitbridge’s biggest business events. We are looking forward to networking with other businesses and meeting potential clients,” said the school’s representative, Shyleen Mudau.

Another newcomer, Corporate 24 Medical, said the expo provides an ideal opportunity to introduce its healthcare services to the local community.

“We are excited to be part of this year’s expo and look forward to showcasing our medical services while engaging with businesses and residents,” said the company’s representative, Honest.

Other exhibitors include the Municipality of Beitbridge, ZimParks, Old Mutual, and several public and private sector organisations.

Beyond this year’s exhibition, organisers have outlined an ambitious long-term vision to establish a permanent 26-hectare showground.

The proposed development is expected to support Beitbridge’s transformation into a vibrant 24-hour service and commercial hub, in line with the expo’s theme.
