Beitbridge teams Dulibadzimu United and Bishopstone FC were found wanting in th Central Region Soccer League after succumbing to identical 2-0 defeats away from home in their  match day 17 fixtures overthe weekend.

Dulivhadzimu United  suffered a 2-0 defeat against the inform debutants Hard Rock FC over the weekend as they failed to build momentum following their last 1-0 win against Matsouth competitors, Blanket Mine.

A 2-0 defeat against Hard Rock FC leaves  Dulibadzimu United dropping to 4th position. 

Fellow Beitbridge side, Bishopstone also suffered a 2-0 defeat against debutants Matobo FC.

Bishopstone has now recorded three consecutive defeats, following its 3-0 defeat against Hard Rock, 2-0 defeat against Gwanda Pirates and a recent 2-0 loss against Matobo FC away from home.

 Match day 17 marked the end of the first half of the season for the Central Region Soccer League Division One teams.

Meanwhile, the Construction Boys, Sheasham finished the first half of the season on 45 points following  their latest victory, a 3-2 victory against Shabane Mine.

The former Premier Soccer league side closed the first half of the season chapter without a defeat, having secured 14 victories and 3 draws.
