BEITBRIDGE is expected to roar into life on April 25 as the third edition of the Doek and Shades Event takes centre stage at Sistahood Gardens, promising a high-energy celebration of music, style, and vibrant nightlife culture.

The event will feature a dynamic lineup headlined by Afrobeat specialist Delroy Shewe, alongside one of Beitbridge’s standout talents, Mark Geezo.

The lineup is further boosted by performances from DJ Teddy B, MC Kay One, and a surprise guest act expected to elevate the show.

Speaking to Ziyah News Network Event organiser, Teddy Ndlovu said this year’s edition is poised to surpass previous installments, which were marked by generic atmospheres and strong crowd engagement.

“This is the third Doek and Shades event, those who attended the last two can testify that the energy was unmatched. This time ladies let’s make history”,he said.q

Ndlovu also said that he draws inspiration from successful national events, expressing confidence in scaling new heights within the entertainment scene.

“I got inspired by the Ama2k Festival hosted by Hatiperi, if Multiperi Agency did it, then I too can do it, expect fireworks on my set alongside MC Kay One,”he said.

Meanwhile, MC Kay One said he is geared up to deliver an unforgettable experience for fans.

“I am ready to vibe with Beitbridge’s finest music lovers. Ladies, don’t forget your shades as you come to taste the coolest vibes,” he said.

Mark Geezo also expressed excitement ahead of the show, describing it as part of his build-up to upcoming international performances.

“I am more than ready to rock the Doek and Shades along the way as I prepare for my international trip to Botswana and South Africa shows,” he said.

With a blend of Afrobeat rhythms, local flair, and a fashion-forward theme, the Doek and Shades Event continues to position itself as a must-attend fixture on Beitbridge’s entertainment calendar.
