CAF U17 Girls Integrated Football Tournament 2025 is set to kick off on Monday, December, 8, at Ngoni Stadium, Norton, Zimbabwe.

In a statement, Confederation of African Football said that the 2025 edition is expected to build on the success of this year ‘s inaugural tournament held in January 2025 in Tanzania.

“The 2025 edition in Harare is expected to build on the success of this year ‘s inaugural tournament that was played in January 2025 in Tanzania and won by JKT Queens, reflecting CAF ‘s ambitions to grow regional competitions and expand participations in youth football for girls across Africa,” CAF statement reads.

The tournament features eight teams from six COSAFA nations namely Zimbabwe ‘s Mpopoma Sports Academy, Luwinga Academy, Otjiewarongo Sports Academy, Mamelodi Sundowns Academy, Refilwe academy, Okakarara Golden Ladies Academy, Lishoeshoe Academy and Aguila Stars Women FC.

The tournament ‘s opening match will be between South Africa ‘s Mamelodi Sundowns Academy against Malawi ‘s Luwinga Academy at 1200hours at Ngoni Stadium, followed by Zimbabwe ‘s Mpopoma Sports Academy taking on Otjiwarongo Sports Academy at 1500hours.

This initiative forms part of CAF ‘s wider commitment to accelerate the growth of women’ s football across the African continent, providing both development opportunities and a platform for youth to showcase their talent.
