The excitement is building as eight teams vie for the coveted Chibuku Super Cup trophy during the quarterfinals scheduled for September 21-22, 2024.

The draw revealed a thrilling lineup of matches, with the remaining eight teams ready to battle for a spot in the semifinals, though the Premier Soccer League (PSL) has yet to announce the venues.

The quarterfinal matchups feature some intriguing clashes:

Dynamos will face off against Yadah FC, while Manica Diamonds take on FC Platinum.

In another exciting matchup, Simba Bhora will clash with the Highlanders, and Caps United will go head-to-head with Ngezi Platinum.

Each team is eager to secure a place in the semifinals and get one step closer to lifting the trophy.

Defending champions Dynamos, who ended a nine-year trophy drought in 2023 by defeating former league champions Ngezi Platinum Stars 2-0 at Baobab Stadium, will be looking to continue their impressive form against a determined Yadah FC, led by star player Khama Billiat. Dynamos aims to build on their previous success and advance to the semifinals once again.

On the other hand, last year’s finalists Ngezi Platinum will be eager to redeem themselves after their disappointing defeat at Baobab Stadium. With the hunger for victory clearly evident, they are determined to bring the trophy home this time around.

As the quarterfinals approach, fans can expect intense competition and thrilling moments as teams battle it out for a chance to claim the Chibuku Super Cup silverware.
