A dancer from Epworth has been sentenced to four months in prison for public indecency after she was filmed performing lewd acts on stage at Choggs Bar.

Kim, a former member of the Spicy Angels dance group, became the center of a social media firestorm when a video emerged showing her inviting a male patron onto the stage, instructing him to lie down, and subsequently pulling down his trousers and underwear.

The shocking act escalated as Kim indulged in what can only be described as indecent behavior in front of a stunned audience.

The explicit nature of the act prompted swift public condemnation and led to an investigation by local authorities as it was recorded on camera.

After the video went viral, the police quickly launched an investigation and attempted to summon Kim for questioning.

However, she eluded authorities for nearly a month, reportedly misleading them by asserting that she intended to turn herself in.

The dancer’s evasion only intensified the scrutiny surrounding the incident.

Finally apprehended over the weekend, Kim was brought before an Epworth magistrate, where she faced the consequences of her actions.

The court found her guilty of public indecency and sentenced her to six months in prison, allowing two months to be suspended provided she maintains good behavior. Thus, she will serve a total of four months behind bars.

As the shockwaves from the incident continue to ripple through the community, Choggs Bar is expected to face additional scrutiny regarding its entertainment choices, and discussions about public decency standards in venues across Zimbabwe are underway.
