THE Municipality of Beitbridge is not shaken by the Kingdom Lifestyle Land Developers social media rants after exhaustive legal processes were followed resulting in the termination of its contract.

“We do not respond to social media posts. We followed a full legal process to arrive at that decision. Kingdom Lifestyle has not challenged us legally and we are not worried. We will not look at responses in the street,” Acting Town Clerk Sathulani Moyo said Monday.

He was giving his report to full council on Monday and making reference to a response by Kingdom Lifestyle authorities over their terminated contract.

Moyo said MoB had not recieved any legal position from Kingdom Lifestyle land developers.

MoB last month announced it had gone separate ways with developer Kingdom Lifestyle who was responsible for the development of Matibe suburb (Eastlea) low density suburb.

According to the town clerk Loud Ramakgapola the termination of contract was triggered by non-performance.

Council said all people should no longer make any payment to Kingdom Lifestyle but redirect these payments to the MoB.

Soon after that Kingdom Lifestyle published a notice claiming it was still in charge, which Moyo dismissed yesterday.
