Swan Valley, a fully indigenous cigarette manufacturer based in Harare, is set to launch its products in Beitbridge on Sunday, December 15, 2024.

The festivities will take place at Dulibadzimu Stadium, featuring a thrilling lineup of activities designed for the entire community.

The day kicks off with a FREE Soccer Match from 9 AM to 2 PM, where local teams Beitbridge Legends will face off against Messina Stars. The excitement will be complemented by junior teams participating in the sporting event, offering family-friendly entertainment for all ages.

Following the soccer match, attendees are invited to enjoy a FREE Music Show at the Pagomba open space starting at 3 PM and continuing until late.

The music lineup boasts some of Zimbabwe’s finest artists, including Sulumani Chimbetu, Freeman, Killer T, Saint Flow, Chillspot Family, Ndolwane Stars, and numerous local artists and DJs. Both events will be live-streamed on Ziyah Media Pages, promoting local talent and ensuring that those unable to attend can still join in the celebration.

In an effort to support efforts towards a litter free town, Swan Valley has donated 50 bins to the municipality of Beitbridge. This initiative underscores the company’s commitment to maintaining a clean and sustainable environment for the community.

Ushewekunze Mutemwa, Swan Valley’s Marketing Director, expressed his excitement about the upcoming launch. “Don’t miss out on this epic 2-in-1 Event Celebration as we welcome Swan into Beitbridge,” he urged.

He also mentioned that participants can expect free giveaways, including Swan Valley products, t-shirts, and other prizes.

However, he added that there will be an age limit for cigarette sales, aligning with regulations that prohibit selling to individuals under the age of 18.

Swan Valley produces a variety of cigarette options, including Toasted, Menthol, Classic Capsule, as well as Red and Blue variants.

As a locally owned company, Swan Valley represents a commitment to Zimbabwe’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims for an upper-middle-class society built by and for its people.

This mission resonates with President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s mantra “Nyika inovakwa nevene vayo,” meaning a country is built by its own people.

The entire Beitbridge community is invited to join in the festivities as Swan Valley marks its entry into the local market with an unforgettable day of sports and entertainment.
