BEITBRIDGE-based DJ Doctor has launched his Good People Good Music safari, with his first stop at Milan Restaurant in Gweru from August 28 to 30.
Born in Lutumba, Washington Chauke, popularly known as DJ Doctor, has established himself in the local DJ scene after winning the Beitbridge DJs Clash two consecutive times, in 2025 and 2026, at Riverdance Club in Chapfuche.
The tour will extend beyond Zimbabwe, with All Days in South Africa also included, while additional venues and dates are expected to be announced as the tour progresses.
DJ Doctor began his deejaying career in 2023, drawing inspiration from DJ Fizzy and receiving mentorship from DJ Mrex, who are both his neighbours from Lutumba.
At 22, DJ Doctor is single and has also become known for his distinctive fashion style, often wearing Lekompo-inspired Nike pants when attending his sets.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, DJ Doctor said he was encouraged by the support he has received from fans and the media.
“I feel so happy being given much love and support from fans. My journey has finally begun as I am getting good response from the media.”
He described the tour saying it’s an important step in expanding his connection with fans outside Beitbridge.
“ I am honoured to announce my first-ever Good People Good Music Tour, which will feature areas outside my hometown as I engage with fans.”

“I expect a full house starting with Gweru. As for All Days, South Africa, be ready.”
“I wish to visit every place where fans will invite me over as we connect through music.”
Meanwhile, DJ Doctor’s management, represented by Mark Muleya, said the DJ was continuing to grow, calling on promoters and brands to collaborate with him.
“The superstar is growing every day. We love the response coming from the media. Henceforth, we urge promoters and brands in Beitbridge to work with us as we are ready for business and more collaborations.”
He also gave appreciation saying Ziyah Media’s Music Unplugged show for supporting DJ Doctor and covering the local entertainment industry.
“Before we go, we want to thank Ziyah Media Music Unplugged show for the support and good work it has done for DJ Doctor.”
“Not just him, but the Beitbridge industry is growing because of the coverage the entity has been offering.”
Popular for creating an energetic atmosphere during his sets, DJ Doctor fuses Dancehall hits such as Jnr Spragga’s “Daka” with House music, creating a distinctive sound that keeps audiences dancing.
