Zimbabwe senior women ‘s rugby team, the Lady Sables is set to battle against Ivory Coast at the Rugby Africa division one women ‘s cup today.
The tournament which features Zimbabwe, Uganda,host Ivory Coast and Tunisia will run from today until 20 April.
This tournament serves as a qualification to the Rugby Africa Cup, as the winner will join South Africa, Madagascar and Kenya in the competition.
Lady Sables captain Skumbuzo Muchenje highlighted that the team is ready to face the challenge against Ivory Coast today.
“We are up and ready for tomorrow, we just doing some final preparations and we are good to go. Thank you for unwavering support,” Muchenje stated.
The Lady Sables will hoping to secure victory in each and every fixture as they eye the Rugby Africa Cup qualification.
