The Super Falcon Eagles of Nigeria have secured their 10th Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final after defeating South Africa 2-1.

Super Falcon Eagles captain Rasheedat Ajibade broke the deadlock  on the 45th minute, before Linda Motlhalo leveled matters for Banyana Banyana.

 Nigeria surprisingly snatched   a winner in the fourth minute of stoppage time as right-back Michelle Alozie scored from a long range to secure a 10th final for the Falcon

Meanwhile, the host Atlas Lionesses of Morocco also secured a spo in the final, defeating the Black Queens of Ghana 4-2 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.

Morocco held their nerve and converted all four of their spot-kicks to send the crowd and home players into delirium with wild celebrations to set a final against the most successful nation in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations.

 Ghana will contest for the bronze medal against South Africa on Friday while Morocco and Nigeria will lock horns on Saturday for the African crown.
