 Mpumelelo “Sbindi” Mseleku is currently under investigation for murder following the shooting death of an alleged intruder at the Mseleku family home in Umzumbe, KwaZulu-Natal.

Reports indicate that an armed man forcibly entered the Mseleku residence while a staff member was on duty. The intruder reportedly demanded to see one of Musa Mseleku’s sons, prompting the staffer to alert authorities.

A confrontation ensued during which the unidentified man was shot four times, allegedly by Mpumelelo Mseleku.

KwaZulu-Natal police have confirmed that an initial case of attempted house robbery and an inquest had been opened but has since been closed in favor of a full murder investigation. Police spokesperson Colonel Robert Netshiunda stated, “Southport police opened a case of attempted house robbery and an inquest which later closed, and a case of murder was registered for investigations,” as reported by Daily Sun.

The Mseleku family is well-known for their appearances on the reality TV shows Uthando Nes’thembu and Izingane Zes’thembu, which delve into the complexities of polygamy and family dynamics. Their unique lifestyle and dramatic experiences have garnered them a large and devoted following among viewers.
