LIMPOPO, South African content creator, actor, and entrepreneur 30 Cent Mboswobeni Ramulugana has sparked cross-border conversation following his breakout video touring -Beitbridge highlighting the shared heritage of the Venda people in Zimbabwe and South Africa, he said must unite.

Ramulugana, who hails from Thohoyandou in Limpopo Province, recently gained widespread attention after posting the video emphasising the historical and cultural significance of Venda communities living in Beitbridge, Zimbabwe.

In the video, Ramulugana urged the audience to embrace a spirit of oneness, stressing that colonial-era borders should not overshadow the deep-rooted cultural ties.

“The Venda people are one people, Our traditions, language, and identity go beyond borders. It is time we celebrate that unity instead of allowing separation to define us.”

Following the video’s reception, Ramulugana took to Facebook to express his appreciation for Zimbabwe’s Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Albert Nguluvhe, he praised for promoting unity among Venda communities on both sides of the border.

Ramulugana described Nguluvhe as “a devoted leader committed to fostering cultural cohesion and strengthening ties among Zimbabwean Venda people and their counterparts in South Africa.”

He also extended an open call to the minister, requesting an invitation and support for a cultural visit to Zimbabwe.

According to Ramulugana, the proposed tour would focus on heritage appreciation, cultural exchange, and reinforcing bonds between communities divided by geography but united by identity.

“This journey is about reconnecting with our roots and building bridges of understanding,It is about celebrating who we are as Venda people.”

The message has resonated with many across social media, where users have praised the initiative as a timely reminder of shared identity in a region often shaped by migration and historical boundaries.

For many, Ramulugana’s message is clea, borders do not confine heritage, and unity remains a powerful force in preserving identity for future generations.
