Former Zimbabwe international and SuperSport United defender, Onismor Bhasera has made a return to the club in a different role, this time returning as part of the technical team.
SuperSport United confirmed the return of the 39 year old, highlighting that his experience and passion for the game will be key for the team ‘s success.
“Leadership. Experience. Spartan! Onismor Bhasera returns to help guide the team forward as part of Andre Arendse and Grant Johnson’s technical team. Welcome back, Bash! Your experience and passion for the game will be key for the road ahead,” SuperSport United stated.
Bhasera will be part of the newly assembled Matsatsantsa ‘s technical team led by interim coach Andre Arendse and assistant coach Grant Johnson following the departure of coach Gavin Hunt from the club.
Before retiring from football in 2024, Bhasera has a successful career with Matsatsantsa since 2016. Bhasera’s new role in SuperSport will no doubt improve his coaching badge.
