Shabanie Mine forward Nyasha Pasi was discharged from Beitbridge District Hospital on Sunday, July 5, 2026.

Hospital officials confirmed his discharge when Ziyah News Network reporters went to check on him.

Pasi was injured during the Vhembe Stars Academy – Shabanie Mine clash at Ronnie’s Arena on Saturday, July 4, 2026.

He was admitted to Beitbridge Hospital after a collision with Vhembe Stars Academy’s Lesley Dube in the 88th minute, just 2 minutes after coming on as a substitute for Tavonga Shoko.

Pasi sustained injuries to his private parts and was rushed to hospital immediately after the incident.

The incident occurred while Shabanie Mine were leading 1-0. Fans initially thought he was just buying time to help his team see out the game, only to later find out he was seriously injured.

Prior to his discharge, the Dulibadzimu United squad, along with Central Region Soccer League Division One Chairman Patrick Hill and board member Ephart Shoko, visited the injured Nyasha Pasi at Beitbridge District Hospital.

Attempts to reach Chairman Patrick Hill and Board Member Shoko for an update on the player’s condition during their visit were unsuccessful, as they were not reachable.

Dulibadzimu United expressed gratitude and showed support during their visit to Pasi ahead of their trip to face ZRP Gwanda at Phelandaba Stadium.

“Speedy recovery to Nyasha Pasi. Nyasha Pasi, number 44 of Shabanie Mine FC, got injured against Vhembe Stars Academy and was admitted to Beitbridge District Hospital.
