Media personality Somizi Mhlongo has vowed to provide financial assistance to support justice for seven-year-old Cwecwe, who was reportedly violated at school.

In a heartfelt video, Mhlongo expressed his commitment to cover all legal costs for Cwecwe’s family, ensuring they receive top-notch legal representation.

“Anyone who knows or can help me with access to Cwecwe’s mother, because I have seen a video where she said they have run out of money for the lawyers and stuff, I am willing to pay anything and everything that I have to make sure that they get the best lawyers, ” Somizi stated.

Cwecwe was allegedly raped on school premises in October last year while waiting for her transport, which arrived late. Upon returning home, her mother noticed signs of trauma and rushed her to the clinic. When the incident was reported to the school, the administration, including the principal, reportedly showed indifference and urged the parents to handle the situation inappropriately.

After Cwecwe’s mother took the matter to social media, it gained significant traction and ignited public outrage.

Somizi’s pledge comes as the case continues to draw nationwide attention, with many South Africans rallying behind Cwecwe’s family through financial donations and protests demanding justice.
