Debutants Vhembe Stars Academy will be looking for redemption as they face Blanket in match day 11 of the Matebeleland South Division 2 Pool A over the weekend.

Following a narrow 1-0 defeat against West Academy at home, Vhembe Stars Academy fans will be looking for a reaction against Blanket, while Blanket also seeks the same after suffering a humiliating 6-1 defeat to Mawabeni.

Vhembe Stars Academy is currently on  fourth position on the log standings, one point ahead of the hosts Blanket but the Greens’, team manager Kelvin Mukunga is hoping his side will draw inspiration from the narrow  1-0 loss and try to fix the mistakes to secure a victory.

“It has to give us confidence and belief  but it’s important that no complacency creeps in because they are a competitive side. I’m certain that the boys will bring in a different and winning mentality than the last time and it’s important to take the opportunity and secure maximum points,” Mukunga said.

The two sides are really   competitive with very little to separate the two and redemption, bragging rights will take center stage as the two sides clash.
