CENTRAL Region Division One side have parted ways with head coach Philimon Mutyakureva in what the club says was by mutual agreement.

“We would like to take this opportunity to advise all our members and fans that the Club has parted ways with the Head Coach Mr Philimon Mutyakureva. The decision came as a result of a mutual agreement between the parties to terminate the contract after the expiry of the three (3) months probation period,” wrote club chief executive officer Foster Abheki.

He said first assistant coach Blessing Madombi will take over until further notice.

Mutyakureva may have been relieved of his duties due to a string of poor results mostly coming in the second part of the game normally blamed on the coaches worldwide.

He has been in charge of the debutants since the beginning of January when he had the liberty of selecting his squad.

He lives when Vhembe are at home against Matobo on Sunday.
