THE Matabeleland South Football League Division 2 braces for Matchday 9 fixtures scheduled for Saturday, August 22 and Sunday, August 23, 2026.
Five league matches are lined up, with one fixture set for Saturday and four fixtures on Sunday.
Dulibadzimu United U19 will travel to Tshaswingo on Saturday to battle Tshaswingo Academy FC away from home.
Following their 4–2 home defeat to Ha Moze in their previous fixture, Dulibadzimu United will be looking for redemption away from home.
On Sunday, league leaders West Nicholson will host second-placed Vhembe Stars Academy U19 at West Nicholson.
The two sides will go into this fixture with massive pride at stake, with Vhembe Stars Academy U19 motivated by their previous 5–2 victory against Tshaswingo Academy and their desire to move to the top of the table.
West Nicholson, meanwhile, will be motivated to continue securing maximum points and prevent Vhembe Stars Academy from going top of the table.
Nottingham FC will host Cawood, while Ha Moze will host defending champions Beitbridge Juicing FC.
Bishopstone FC will host Siyaso FC at Muchato on Sunday.
Bishopstone FC will be looking to improve after their previous fixture, a goalless draw against defending champions Beitbridge Juicing FC.
Siyaso, on the other hand, will be looking for redemption after falling short against Cawood FC in their previous fixture, losing 2–1.
In an interview with Ziyah News Network, Beitbridge Juicing coach George Ncube said he is expecting a better performance against Ha Moze FC.
“We are building, but we expect better results against Ha Moze. We are the defending champions and we will try to do better,” Ncube said.
Beitbridge Juicing FC have won the championship for three consecutive years, in 2023, 2024 and 2025.
