Zimbabwe’s men national team, the Warriors are set to battle against Nigeria’s Super Eagles in match day 6 of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers today.

The match featuring the West African giants against the Warriors will kick off at 1800hours in Nigeria.

Following their 1-1 draw in their last encounter in 2024, both the Super Eagles and the Warriors will be looking forward to secure maximum points.

The Warriors drew their Match Day 5 encounter against Benin 2-2 which left them at the bottom of Group C with 3 points from 5 matches while the Super Eagles secured a 2-0 victory against Rwanda to secure fourth position with 6 points.

Zimbabwe has a lot of pressure on their shoulders with supporters hoping for the team’s first win in these qualifiers.

On the other hand, the Super Eagles backed by the home crowd t will be looking forward to redeem themselves in the eyes of their fans, by atleast securing maximum points in this match to revive their qualifications hopes.

Elsewhere, South Africa will also battle against Benin at the same time today.

Bafana Bafana is currently on top of the group C as they look to return to the global showpiece since they hosted the tournament in 2010.
