Zambia effortlessly cruised over the Hollywood bet COSAFA Women defending champions Malawi with a 2-0 goal margin in their semifinal match in South Africa this afternoon.
The semi-final win was sweet revenge for the Shepolopolo (Zambia’s national women’s soccer team, who lost 2-1 to the same opponents in last year’s final.
By defeating Zambia is in her third successive final appearance where they await for the winner between South Africa and Mozambique.
Elsewhere, the seven times champions South Africa is set to face her neighbour Mozambique in another semifinal set. South Africa will be backed up by their home crowd which could influence the outcome of the result.
