ZEZANI High School U20 Girls have secured a semi-final spot against Malungudzi after the two Beitbridge outfits displayed superb performances in their group stages of the Matebeleland South Provincial NASH Competitions 2026.
Zezani High School confirmed their group stage victories.
Backed by the home crowd, Zezani High School beat Mzimuni High School by a goal to nothing in the opening NASH game.
In their second Group A match, Zezani High School won 1-0 against Bezha Secondary School to seal their provincial semi-final spot.
Shama Mbedzi and Belinda Ompha Singo were the two players who scored to secure back to back victories for Zezani High School.
Malungudzi effortlessly smashed Phakama 4-0 in the opening match, before securing a narrow 1-0 victory against Empandeni to book a semi-final date with Zezani High School U20 Girls.
After securing the semi final spot Zezani High School praised their U20 Girls team.
“Our girls have successfully progressed to the semi-finals after an impressive performance in the group stages. The Beitbridge High School derby between Zezani High School and Malungudzi won’t be an easy one, but one thing is for sure, there will be one Beitbridge team in the Matebeleland South Provincial NASH Competitions 2026 U20 Girls final.
