EVERY second term is that time of the year when every school sends its best ball games squad to compete against other schools and this second term is no different, as the Mat South Provincial NASH U20 Girls and U17 Boys kick off at Zezani High School on Wednesday.
The NASH games are scheduled for July 8 to 9.
Last year NASH U17 champions, Zezani High School confirmed that everything is now set for the competition to start.
“Everything is now set. The wait is over. Provincial fixtures for the U20 Girls are out and the stage is set for an exciting competition” Zezani High statement reads.
Zezani High School are in Group A alongside Mzimuni High School and Bezha Secondary School. Group B has Minda High School alongside Nkankezi and Bengo Secondary School.
Malungudzi Secondary will lock horns with Phakama High and Empandeni in Group C.
Zezani High School coach Mageleza also said: “Only the U20 Girls fixtures are out. The U17 Boys fixtures will be set late this afternoon.”
Following their impressive 2025 campaign, the reigning U17 Boys champions now face the challenge of defending their provincial title at home for the first time.
Zezani High School secured the right to defend their title after defeating Vhembe High School 2-1 at the Beitbridge District NASH competition.
With Zezani High School as hosts, Vhembe High School stepped in as runners-up to represent Beitbridge alongside the defending champions.
Zezani High School is looking to secure back-to-back provincial championships and earn another historic national campaign.
