Zimbabwe‘s netball national team, the Gems displayed a brilliant all round performance from the first to the final whistle crushing past Eswatini 78-27 at the Africa Netball Cup.
Following a 50-49 victory against Uganda in Swakopmund, the Gems kept on building the winning rhythm when securing a massive victory against Eswatini with a huge goal margin.
The Zimbabwe Netball Association took to their social media to show support and congratulate the Gems for securing their latest win in the tournament .
“Unstoppable glows, the Gems have done it again, another victory in the bag, back to back wins and the momentum keeps building, who is next? Because this team is on fire, let’s keep tall with the champions,” said the netball custodians in the country.
Deputy Minister of Sports Recreation Arts and culture, Hon Emily Jesaya also took her social media to congratulate the Gems.
“You continue to make the nation proud, well done Zimbabwe Gems ,”she remarked.
The Gems have thus far been displaying world class performances in this tournament bringing back the euphoria which characterised their maiden dance at the netball world cup.
