THE Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) has officially released the November 2025 Advanced Level examination results, bringing relief and excitement to thousands of candidates across the country.
Candidates can begin accessing their results from 1600 hours via the official ZIMSEC results portal.
The release followed an announcement made in a statement issued on Thursday, January 8 2026, by the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, Torerayi Moyo.
Moyo highlighted a major milestone in the administration of national examinations, noting that the 2025 examinations marked the third consecutive year in which exams were conducted and concluded without any leakages.
“This marks the third consecutive year in which our national examinations have been conducted and concluded without any leakages,” said Moyo.
“This is a remarkable achievement that underscores the Ministry’s unwavering commitment to upholding the integrity and credibility of our examination systems,” he said.
According to ZIMSEC statistics, a total of 36,635 candidates sat for the 2025 A Level examinations. Of these, 36,282 candidates wrote two or more subjects.
Out of that number, 34,740 candidates obtained Grade E or better in two or more subjects, resulting in a national pass rate of 95.75%.
The 2025 results reflect an improvement of 1.17% compared to 2024, when the national pass rate stood at 94.58%.
How to Check ZIMSEC A Level Results Online
Candidates can follow the step-by-step process below to access their results:
1.Visit the ZIMSEC Results Portal
Open the official ZIMSEC portal using the link:
https://results.zimsec.co.zw
2.Register for an Account
Click on “Register as a New User” and enter your details exactly as requested, following all on-screen instructions.
3.Confirm Registration
Look out for a confirmation message or follow any verification prompts displayed on the portal.
4.Return to the Home Page
After registration, go back to the portal’s home page.
5.Log In
Enter your username and password to log in. Returning users can log in directly, while those who forgot their password can use the reset option.
6.Access the Results Section
Once logged in, the dashboard will appear with menu options.
7.Select Candidate Results
Click on “Candidate Results” and choose the correct examination level and year.
8.View and Save Results
Your results will be displayed on the screen. You may save them as a PDF or take a clear screenshot for future reference.
9.Log Out
Ensure you log out of the portal after checking your results.
The release of the 2025 A Level results marks an important moment for candidates, parents, and schools, as learners take the next steps in their academic and career journeys.
