Harare – As the Zimbabwe Agricultural  Society (ZAS) celebrates a milestone, 130 years of existence at this year’s Zimbabwe Agricultural Show, the 115th edition of the latter promises to be electric, providing value for everyone. It is set to be a spectale of agriculture excellence, celebrating the key role the sector plays in building and sustaining economy Zimbabwe.

Set for the 25th to the 30th of August, this year’s Agricultural Show will be delivered in such a way that there is something for everyone on the menu.

As the  ZAS Chief Executive Officer Alfred Rufaro Gunundu addressed the media, whatever is brewing in pot Harare Agriculture show 2025, what he unraveled was no doubt appetising. A range of strategic platforms and engagements have been put on the menu to complement the traditional menu pre and during exhibition days.

“To complement the exhibitions, a broad range of Business to Business engagements has been curated. These strategic platforms are designed to bring together senior executives, industry, experts and government stakeholders to exchange ideas, build partnerships and explore innovations that can drive growth of agricultural enterprises,” said the ZAS CEO.

He emphasised the importance the importance of the curated events within the main event as key in perpetuating collaboration across the agricultural value chain.

” Through these focused interactions, we aim to foster collaboration, address sector specific challenges, and unlock new opportunities within both local and international markets.

Headlining the exciting line-up of events is the pre- exhibition days ZAS Humanity Golf Day on the 21st of August, a charity golf tournament whose proceeds are  meant to support a ZAS scholarship fund to support deserving but underprivileged students wishing to pursue agriculture related programs at tertiary level.

This will be followed by the Annual Agribusiness Conference bringing together stakeholders and executives along the agricultural value chain on the 27th of August. On the night of the same day, the much anticipated Quiz and Karaoke Night for  Exhibitors will be on.

With agriculture and the environment more like Siamese twins, there will be an Environmental, Social and Governance Conference on the 28th of August with the Zimbabwe Agricultural Media Awards going on the night of the same day.

Research is crucial in the modern agriculture industry, the iconic Andy Millar Hall will host the Research for Agricultural Excellence and Technology Indaba again on the 28th of August.

With 304 exhibitors having already confirmed their participation expectations are high that the 580 exhibitors target will be reached soon.

This year’s Zimbabwe Agricultural Show will be running under the theme, “Building Bridges: Connecting Agriculture, Industry and Community.
