Bishopstone FC finally remembered how to win, bouncing back to winning ways by securing a narrow 1-0 victory against West Nicholson.
The Beitbridge West outfit has struggled to secure maximum points and the win against rivals West Nicholson away from home no doubt has done the team a whole lot of good confidence wise.
Coming to the match, the two sides went Into halftime break with nothing separating them, however in the second, Bishopstone FC ‘s Respect Ndou was sent off after a terrible mistake at the 74th minute.
The numerical disadvantage spurred Bishopstone and Knowledge Sibanda broke the dead lock with a stunning strike in the 85th minute to secure three points for the Beitbridge West outfit.
Bishopstone FC has now secured 8 points in 11 matches, with 2 wins, 7 defeats and 2 draws.
Meanwhile, Bishopstone FC will now prepare to face Hard FC at Muchato Stadium in mid week,on match day 12.
Commenting on the upcoming fixture, Bishopstone coach Prince Bhandula said “It won’t be an easy game, as they face a challenging opponent but they will do their job which to try and secure better results”.
