In another notable fixture, Ivory Coast cruised past Mali 4-2 in Group D to secure their spot in the quarter finals. Despite Mali ‘s huge 4-2 loss to the Ivorians, they will proceed to the quarter finals as group D runners up.
Despite failure to qualify for the finals, Angola headlined the final group matches with 6-1 victory over the newbies Central Africa Republic.
