The battle for regional glory in the 2025 CAF U17 Girls’ Integrated Football Tournament continues with the seventh and eighth place play-offs kicking off on December 17, and the final on December 18, 2025.
The 8 teams were placed, 4 each, in two groups, meaning that each team will battle another team from the other group according to their standing.
In a notable fixture, Lesotho’s Lishoeshoe were victorious in all their group games, topped Group B, and will meet the winner of Group A, South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns, in Thursday’s final, December 18.
The much anticipated clash will see the two best teams in the competition face off in what promises to be a fascinating battle.
Zambia’s Aguila Stars secured second place in Group B with points from their matches and will battle Zimbabwe’s Mpopoma Sports Academy, who also secured 6 points in three matches.
Mpopoma and Aguila will be battling for third and fourth place.
Meanwhile, Namibia ‘s Otjiwarongo Sports Academy will battle fellow Namibians Okakarara Golden Ladies for seventh place at 1200 hours on Wednesday, December 17.
Later, Malawi’s Luwinga Academy will take on South Africa’s Refilwe FC as they battle for fifth place at 1500 hours on December 17.
