Zimbabwean Musician Chief Hwenje is recovering well after undergoing a successful surgery for lymphoma in India and has expressed heartfelt thanks to the government and fans for unwavering support during his challenging times.
Chief Hwenje Known by his birth name Admire Sanyanga Sibanda is a musician and singer who sing Afro-traditional and jiti music and he became famous by his hit song Ed Pfee and Mai Welly.
Recently, the musician shared the heart breaking news of his diagnosis with lymphoma, a type of blood cancer affecting the lymphatic and immune systems and it had stopped him from releaseing the album that he had promised the public.
In a statement which was released on the Zanu PF Patriots social media page, Hwenje expressed gratitude to the government for its financial assistance and to his fans for their unwavering prayers. He also shared his optimism about resuming his music career soon.
