PREMIER Soccer League giants, Dynamos FC, has set the record straight, dismissing rumours circulating on social media that it has appointed a new chairman.
Following rumours that Vincent Chawonza had been appointed as the club’s new chairman, the club issued a statement clarifying that there has been no change to its executive committee.
“The club has noted with concern that there is an individual who has issued and caused to be issued of the statement in the print and electronic media, alleging that he has been appointed a new Chairman of the executive committee of Dynamos. By so doing, the aforesaid individuals have insinuated that the current chairman of the executive committee has been relieved of his duties.”
“The correct position is that there has not been changes to the Executive Committee of Dynamos. Emerging from triumphant escape from relegation zone and just won a record 3rd Chibuku Super Cup, the club and it’s leadership is currently working flat out to prepare for the next 2026 season during which targets that the team reclaim its dominance in both local and international assignments,” the Dynamos FC statement reads.
Dynamos FC reassured its supporters, stakeholders and staff that the club is focused on the upcoming season.
