Dimson Mvuma’s well documented struggles to secure maximum points continued yesterday after suffering a 2-0 defeat against FC Platinum U19 at Mandava Stadium.
Following its 2-1 defeat to log leaders Shesham and a 1-1 draw against Shabane Mine, Dimson Mvuma once again failed to shake off the relegation candidate tag , as FC Platinum U19 got the better of them, condemning the Mvuma’s outfit to back to back defeats.
A 2-0 victory against Mvuma saw FC Platinum U19 move to 23 points and 9th position, while Mvuma remains in 15th position in the Central Region Soccer League Division One with 11 points.
Meanwhile, Dimson Mvuma will now seek redemption for themselves against fellow relegation fighters MSU FC over the weekend.
MSU currently sits at the bottom of the table with 8 points, trailing Dimson Mvuma by 3 points.
