The Zimbabwe Football Association is warning the public of unauthorized individuals organizing workshops and courses under the name of ZIFA.

According to ZIFA, the Federation do not endorse, organize workshops, any courses or events unless they are communicated through their official channels.

“For your safety and to avoid scams, only attend ZIFA events that are announced via official website and verified social media platforms .do not trust any other sources that claim affiliation with us,” the ZIFA statement reads.

ZIFA has highlighted that any unauthorized use of ZIFA’s name and logo is illegal and may result in prosecution. Additionally the federation’s alert serves as a reminder for the public to remain vigilant and cautious regarding these scammers.

The Association also emphasized that they are committed to protecting the community and the integrity of the brand ZIFA.

In the past months, several departments in the country have warned the public against scammers who have been on the prowl, these include the Ministry of Transport and infrastructure Development,Simbisa brands and now ZIFA highlighting a trend where social media is used by fraudsters
