The road to continental club glory continues in the CAF U17 Africa Cup of Nations Under 17 with quarter final match ups set to kick off today.
In one of the notable fixtures, South African ‘s Amajimbos will battle the host nation, Morocco ‘s young Atlas Lions at 2000hours while fellow COSAFA outfit Zambia, will lock horns with Burkina Faso at 1700hours.
Amajimbos and Young Atlas Lions ‘fixture will be one of the most interesting fixture with Young Atlas Lions backed by the home crowd while Amajimbos will be looking forward to secure a semi-final spot.
Amajimbos will have to watch out for the Young Atlas Lions ‘ top talent Illies Belmokhtar who has been prolific and managed to score 3 goals so far. While Young Atlas Lions will also have to watch out for players like Emile Witbooi, South Africa ‘s wonder kid.
Zambia will be playing against top talents such as Lookman Tapsoba the young Burkinane who has already scored four goals in this competition.
The stakes are high as a loss sends a team packing while a win keeps the dream alive and edges them closer to lifting Africa’s most prestigious youth football trophy.
