Warriors defender Teenage Lingani Hadebe has reached a major landmark in his international career after earning his 50th cap for the Zimbabwe national team.

The 28-year-old, who currently plays for Major League Soccer side FC Cincinnati, has been a permanent fixture in the Warriors setup since making his debut on 16 November 2014 in a friendly match against Morocco.

His latest appearance now cements his status as one of Zimbabwe’s most experienced defenders of the modern era.

Hadebe’s football journey began at Bantu Rovers, where he made his senior debut as a 17-year-old in 2012

His impressive performances in local football opened the door to opportunities abroad, ultimately shaping him into a dependable force on the international stage.

Over the years, the Bulawayo-born defender has earned admiration for his consistency, composure, and leadership at the back.

His reliability has made him a cornerstone of the Warriors defence across several major tournaments and qualification campaigns.

To mark the achievement, the Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) posted a celebratory message on Facebook, praising Hadebe for his service and commitment to the national badge.

“50 CAPS! A true Warrior hitting a massive milestone. Thank you for your loyalty, passion and service to the badge. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior.
Happy 50th CAP Teenage Hadebe!”

Zimbabweans joined in the celebrations on social media, flooding the comment section with congratulatory messages for the defender.

Many hailed him as a model professional who continues to represent the country with honour.
