The Zimbabwe National Youth Service Graduates Association (ZNYSGA) has distanced itself from recent statements made by Kudakwashe Ndavara, they accuse of falsely claiming to represent the association in relation to the so-called “17 October Million Man March.”

In a statement, ZNYSGA National Commander Benhilda Gunda said the message circulating online under the heading “It’s Game On… Zimbabwe National Service Youth Graduates Organisation led by Ndavara Held a Presser Today – 14 October 2025” does not reflect the association’s official position or values.

Gunda said ZNYSGA is not linked to any planned demonstrations or anti-government activities.

“We completely disassociate ourselves from the statements and actions of Kudakwashe Ndavara, which were made without the knowledge or consent of ZNYSGA leadership,” she said.

She said the association is committed to national unity, patriotism, and youth development in line with the vision of the Government of Zimbabwe and ZANU PF.

She described ZNYSGA as a peace-loving organisation of disciplined and loyal National Youth Service graduates, saying Ndavara is “not, and has never been, a member or representative of ZNYSGA at any level.”

Gunda said they are working with the Zimbabwe Republic Police to identify individuals spreading false information meant to cause division.

ZNYSGA had unwavering support for President Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa and she called on the public and media to ignore unauthorised statements issued in its name.

“We remain focused on promoting national service, youth empowerment, and unity in support of the country’s development agenda,” Gunda said.
