MUSIC lovers in Beitbridge are set for a Friday of different sounds as Canvas Curve (Skeembeit), Hydro Haven and Konka Pub line up DJ performances on August 28, 2026.
At Canvas Curve(Skeembeit), local DJs DJ Jungle and DJ Scorpion will provide music alongside MC Miano.
The venue is expected to offer a chilled atmosphere as audiences begin the weekend.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, DJ Jungle said Canvas Curve was known for music that audiences could relate to.
“Canvas Curve delivers the best chilled music which music lovers relate to and vibe to in their day-to-day life,” he said.
“We expect a night dominated by good sound and dance as we start the weekend,” he added.
Meanwhile, Hydro Haven will host Polokwane-based DJ Baster, who will share the decks with DJ Tanana.
Located opposite Engen Garage, the venue is set to offer another option for music lovers seeking entertainment on Friday evening.
At Konka Pub, Harare-based DJ Blaze will headline the evening with a mix of R&B, Dancehall and Afro-pop.
Allan Mambo, popularly known as DJ Blaze, gained recognition after winning the 2005 Sprite DJ Competition.
He has also performed at events including the Moto Moto Festival in Germany.
Speaking to Ziyah News Network, DJ Blaze expressed his excitement about performing in Beitbridge for the first time.
“It’s a great honour to visit Beitbridge for the first time and I’m looking forward to turning up the crowd,” he said.
He also said, audiences could expect R&B and Dancehall during his set.
DJ Teddy B said, the back-to-back set is an opportunity to perform alongside experienced DJs from Harare.
“We expect a great night as we take notes, rolling with the ones who have experienced the most in terms of music,” he said.
Konka Pub will also feature local DJs DJ Teddy, DJ TNT and Vic Gee, with MC Kay One serving as host.
With three venues offering different musical experiences, Beitbridge audiences will have several options for Friday night entertainment.
