Veteran Zimdancehall musician Guspy Warrior, born Emmanuel Manyeruke, has issued an apology to rising star Master H following controversial remarks he made during a recent podcast appearance that sparked widespread backlash on social media.

During the podcast, Guspy Warrior discussed his relationship with Master H, who is currently enjoying significant success in the music industry.

In his comments, he accused Master H of copying aspects of his hit song “Seunononga” in the new track “Butter Margarine.”

“Master H is like my younger brother. I have no problem inspiring him if it’s inspiration. I don’t have any problem. But there’s a problem when people start copying. If you listen to Butter Margarine, it’s not completely Seunononga, but there are certain parts that make you think of Seunononga when you listen to it.” he said

These remarks ignited a firestorm on social media, with many users criticizing Guspy Warrior for attempting to undermine the achievements of Master H, who is considered one of the biggest acts in the country.

Others pointed fingers at Guspy for seemingly fighting for relevance in a rapidly changing music landscape.

In the face of growing criticism, Guspy Warrior later took to social media to apologize for his comments.

“I would like to apologise to Master H. I can see that this came out the wrong way, and for that, I apologise. I personally told Master H General Aladin off the media in his ears that I was proud of him way before this drama, and I still am, but I guess it is what it is”

As the situation unfolded, Master H has chosen to remain silent amid the turmoil, focusing on his music as the controversy surrounding him continues to swirl.
