Controversial Zimbabwean socialite and beauty influencer Malloti Rose, born Millicent Tsitsi Chimonyo, has taken to social media to address allegations suggesting she has been on the South African Police Service (SAPS) most wanted list since 2017.
The allegations link her to a string of crimes, including armed robbery, with Alias Namatai Bhobho.
In a recent post, Malloti shared a picture of herself with the caption, “You can’t blame my past nomore I came from the trenches but through God’s Grace, TAKAIPFUURA.”
The post was complemented by the track “All My Life” by Lil Durk featuring J. Cole, hinting at her reflections on her controversial past.
The allegations against Malloti resurfaced following claims made by fellow Zimbabwean socialite Evidence Chihera, who asserts that Malloti was part of a group involved in the violent assault and robbery of a man in Cape Town, South Africa.
Reports suggest that the victim, a white resident, died as a result of the incident.
Chihera alleged, Malloti was part of a group that stole from and assaulted the man. While others were arrested and sentenced, she escaped back to Zimbabwe.
Malloti has a history of high-profile relationships and disputes, previously making headlines for her vexed romance with Zimdancehall artist Hwinza, which ended acrimoniously.
With her tumultuous past and polarizing figure in the public eye, one question looms large: what’s next for Malloti Tsitsi?
