POLICE at Beitbridge are reported to have arrested a man, believed a convict, from Chamunanga Village, 10 kilometres outside Beitbridge due north, for the rape of an underage schoolgirl.
The man whose name has been supplied, is held by police.
It is understood the man helped himself on a girl below 18, the legally approved aged for consent to sexual activities.
Sources said the man has previous conviction and although police were immediately unavailable , a villager witnessed an apprehension…more to follow
