The Zimbabwe men’s national team is set to face Kenya in their  AFCON 2025 qualifying encounter at Peter Mokaba Stadium in South Africa tomorrow evening

Following a 0-0 draw in Kenya’s home match in Uganda, both teams are eager to settle their qualification goals. Zimbabwe has managed to secure 8 points from their last four games, while Kenya is on 4 points making tomorrow’s match, a must win encounter for the Harambe Stars.

Zimbabwe aims to secure at least a point in this match to strengthen their bid for qualification. In contrast, Kenya will be fighting for a win to close the gap and keep their own qualification hopes alive.

Warriors midfielder Andrew Rinomhota emphasized the importance of the match and the determination to make the country proud.

“It’s an important game a big one for us to qualify, and that’s our main goal: to reach the AFCON finals. So far, we’ve done good work in our previous encounter against Namibia, which has put us in this position. We’re just looking forward to finishing the job against Kenya and delivering strong performances to make the fans back home happy. It’s definitely going to be a tough test; we’ve played them a few times in the past, and those matches have been challenging. We won’t take it lightly; we will give everything we can, especially with the coach providing us with new ideas and tactics,” Rinomhota stated.

In other news, Cameroon has secured its place in the AFCON 2025 tournament with a 0-0 draw against Namibia. Meanwhile, the Brave Warriors’ qualification dreams have faded away, leaving them with no chance of making it to Morocco.
