Chelsea Tariro Hlomayi, the mother of rapper Holy Ten’s first son, has publicly accused the artist and his wife, Kim, of exploiting their sick child for the cover of his latest album, Proud Father.

The album, released on October 14, 2024, features Holy Ten holding his two sons, Mufaro and Mukudzeyi Junior, who were born eight months apart. The photos for the album cover were taken during a family outing at Skate World in Borrowdale, Harare.

Following the release, many fans and fellow musicians praised Holy Ten for being present in the lives of both his sons, despite their different mothers.

However, Chelsea has taken to social media to express her outrage, alleging that Holy Ten has neglected their sick child.

In a passionate Facebook post, she stated, “It’s very unfortunate that you would choose to exploit a sick child for content. A child you have neglected since he was born. Can I ‘borrow’ him for a few hours to do an album cover?”

Chelsea continued, criticizing Holy Ten for using their son as a marketing tool, despite being aware of the child’s health issues.

“Even though you knew he was sick at the time, I was fine with the album cover being done; that’s my child’s inheritance, but the other content you’re putting out, Proud Mother my foot.”

She further claimed that Holy Ten has spread negative comments about her, alleging that he refers to their child as a “bastard.” Chelsea expressed her frustration over the situation, emphasizing that using her son for promotional purposes is way too low.

“Be a good person in real life; all this fakeness just for marketing your image is not okay! My son is not a prop!” she concluded.

The accusations have sparked a debate online, with many supporters rallying behind Chelsea’s sentiments regarding the ethical implications of using children in the public eye.
